Every month, both our website and physical store locations will sponsor and exhibit local, young, aspiring, amateur, and talented artists who practice in all various mediums ranging from graffiti to painting on Canvas! It is important to Annie Creamcheese to aid in making the local art scenes in our respective city's flourish and welcoming artists who might have difficulty exhibiting their work or finding a place to exhibit.

Carolyn Becker: Mini- Biography

You will never find Carolyn living anywhere else but in Washington DC; it is her home, her inspiration, and her life and never wants to leave. Washington is the only place where she can paint and create art. Everyone and everything is eclectic and inspiring because all different types of people, beliefs, and ideas populate the city. Boredom is unheard of.

Carolyn’s art primarily focuses and presents commentary on the body, beauty, and the self. By unconventionally depicting differing body parts, and faces of various body types through colorfully painting collages and working on odd surfaces, she aims to criticize superficiality and urges women to have positive body images and to be confident. Living and interacting with all different types of open-minded progressive and powerful women in the metropolitan has only encouraged Carolyn to take this route in her artwork.
Carolyn is a fashion and vintage loving undergraduate at American University who currently studies Painting and Marketing and plans on receiving a BA in Studio Art and minor in Marketing in 2013.
